Cultivated Land Utilization Efficiency and Its Difference with Consideration of Environmental Constraints in Major Grain Producing Area

Based on environmental constraints, Adopt the undesirable super efficiency SBM model and MalmquistLuenberger index, calculation of cultivated land utilization efficiency and describe its intertemporal dynamic change characteristics in major grain producing area in 1994-2014.Thiel index is used to search for structural reasons.The results show: 1)Cultivated land utilization efficiency value of inconsideration of environmental constraints was higher than the one for consideration of environmental constraints, environmental constraints has a significant effect on cultivated land utilization efficiency. 2)The general trend of wavily descending, the average values are below 1,the overall efficiency is not high in 1994-2014. 3)Cultivated land utilization efficiency of consideration of environmental constraints has significant difference in space, northern and southern is high, and the middle area is low in 1994, the spatial pattern shows point distribution in 2014. 4)The total factor productivity of cultivated land utilization efficiency is the general trend of wavily descending, Technological advances play an important role in cultivated land utilization efficiency. 5)Interregional differences were the main factors affecting the overall difference, middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River intraregional differences play an important role in the overall difference.
