Analysis on the Overturning Stability of Single Spread Footings in one Foreign Project

The footings of the ESP of a project in India were designed to indenpendet ladder type foundation according to the GB 50007—2002 Code for design of building foundation,but the owner′s engineer think that it′s overturning stability dose not meet the India standard.To deal with the problem,we performed the ESP foundation overturning stability checking under different work conditions according to the specifications of China and India.The comparison shows that our design is fully able to meet India standard.
