Stabilization of Inverter for Distributed Generators by a Virtual Synchronous Generator

Distributed generators(DGs)is connected to grid by inverters.The frequency of inverter can not be controlled by DG.It need to be controlled by other synchronous generators.Power systems may become unstable with the increase of DG inverter.This article uses a new control strategy called virtual synchronous generator(VSG)which makes the the whole inverter have the characteristics of synchronous motor by adding energy storage component.Simulation results shows that this strategy is uesful.
