Positive Solutions to a Class of Singular Nonlinear Second Order Boundary Value Problem

In this paper the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for the singular nonlinear boundary value problems (1. 1) and (1. 2) are proved under the following hypotheses:(H_1) f(t,y) is a nonnegative continuous function defined on [0, 1]×(0, ∞), which is nonincreasing on y for all t∈ [0, 1].(H_2) φ(x) is a continuous function defined on [0, ∞) such that φ(x)0, x∈(0, ∞), and for any constant M0, φ(x)dx∞.
