Renovation process of alkali filter shaft using laser and its property research

Functional renovation process on fail filter shaft of MB40 by closed pressurization was introduced. Dimension was resumed by adopting good self- fluxing alloy laser welding technology, and then the surface was enhanced by laser alloying technology. Several characteristics of repairing layer were compared, such as microscopic structure, wearability, and corrosion resistance. After comparison, it provided the process and theory for deep- layer functional renovation. Laser deposited and alloyed process was an effective way of shaft renovation. It was a way suitable for the high wearing rate shaft.
