A PRELIMINARY REPOTR ON THE SIEVING OF THE HERVICIDE FOR MILLET FIELD
Liu Moxiang et al
In this experiment a series of the compounds of phenoxyacetamindes and phenoxyacetates -were synthptized and .their effect in killing bristle-iS - grass in millet field was tested. The results showed };hat .among these compounds, Nos. 1 , 6 , 8, 16, 18, 20, 26, 2J and 32 were about 50 effective in killing bristlegrass when used before, its germination anc with the concentration of 2 to 4 kg/ha, but the rate of iahibitating the germination of millet crop was only 5^. Of all these compounds, N-0-methylphenyl-2-mythyl-4-chlorphenoxyacetaniide was the best in killing bristlegrass (51-72^) and with a stable effetiveness.
