Study on the Drought Resistant Measures in Maize Ⅰ

Song Fengbin et al. (Dept. of Agronomy, Jilin Agricuktural university, Changchun 130118)  
The results showed that MOC (maize and other crop) drought resistant chemicals sprayed on leaf surface lightened the effect degree of drought stress on floret differentation and increased the length and width of ear by 18.79% and 13.24% at the middle and later stage of floret differentation, compared with ck respectively, at the same time, the grain numbers per row evenly increased by 14.13% . MOC drought resistant chemicals sprayed on the leaf surface before drought stress occured, the yield was increased by 5% ̄11% under the field condition and the yield reduction and the yield reduction was alleviated 7% ̄230% under the pot condition. After the seeds were soaked in MOC drought resistant chemicals, the yield was increased by 5% ̄10% under the field condition and the yield reduction was alleviated 6% ̄11% under the pot condition. All these domenstrated that MOC drought resistant chemicals was an effectively and practically advanced technology in elevated the drought resistant capability and increased field.
