A Method for Measuring Duct Wall Heat Flux Based on Inverse Problem Algorithm

It is difficult to measure the duct wall heat flux accurately with traditional methods.A new inverse problemmodel of measurement of heat flux is developed,based on the temperature reading taken inside the fluid at different locations along the flow.A straightforward approachis presented by conjugate gradient method.The numerical results show that,this method has a highaccuracy even though there are large measuring errorsin temperature.
