A Signal Processing Method for Coriolis Flowmeter Based on Time-varying Signal Model and Normalized Lattice Notch Filter

An adaptive normalized lattice notch filter with the capability of tracking frequency variation is applied to filter the sensor output signal, whose frequency,amplitude and phase are time-varying based on the random walk model,of Coriolis mass flowmeter and calculate its frequency.An adaptive line enhancer based on the above mentioned notch filter extracts the signal required from the noisy data.Then the sliding Goertzel algorithm with overlap windows is used to calculate the real time phase difference between two signals of this kind.With the frequency and phase difference obtained,the time interval between the two signals and the mass flowrate are derived.The simulation results show that algorithms studied are efficient.
