Clinical observation on walking retraining in hemiplegic patients

Objectives:To observe the clinical results of walking retraining in hemiplegic patients of stroke. Methods: 87 cases of hemiplegic patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:therapeutic group (50 cases) and control group (34 cases).Patients in the therapeutic group received gait retraining with neurological facilitation techniques as the main approach.The control group used pharmacotherapy only. Results:Both of them had significant difference between the 2 groups ( P 0.05). Conclusions:Retraining could improve hemiplegic walking ability and walking quality by improving functions and controlling abilities of the hips,knees and ankles.
