Fully Understanding the Connotation of Scientific Education

SHI Ruo -guTeachers College, Jimei University, Xiamen 36102l , China  
Regarding scientific education as teaching the scientific knowledge one - sidedly and ignoring thecultivation of scientific ideas, methods and spirit are the major problems ekisting in science education. Therefore,compared with merely teaching scientific knowledge, fully understanding the connotation of scientific education, i. e.teaching scientific ideas, methods and spirit are more important in the process of cultivating cross - century talents.
