Jiageng's Spirit and the Ideological and Political Education of Poor Students in Higher Vocational Colleges

Impoverished students face the practical problems caused by the economic condition, so they tend to form certain thinking dispositions and value orientation. The author implores the ideological characteristics and psychology and finds that Jiageng's spirit can arouse students' interests and emotional resonance and its educational function accord with the ideological and political education of impoverished students. The present paper aims at exploring the educational function of the spirit of Cheng Jiageng and providing new inspiration for ideological and political education of impoverished students.
