The Localization of Seminar——A Case Study on the Instruction of Higher Education Principles

Innovation consciousness is an indispensable quality required from the postgraduates, however,tthe present instruction style of "dictatorial rule" and "sheep-tending-like method" obviously neglects the training of innovation consciousness, without which the goal of graduates' education can hardly be reached. In the light of the above problem, in the past three years' implementation of course of Principles of Higher Education, the author has explored the localization of seminar teaching method and its effect in enhancing course participants' innovation consciousness ; meanwhile, the author has put forward several reasonable suggestions on the effective application of this method.
