Currently, obvious differences can be found in the development and performance of agricultural industrialization in provinces and autonomous regions across China.Based on data collected from different provinces, this paper explores the reasons for these differences. The empirical analysis results show that agricultural enterprises have a significant positive influence on the per capita gross output value of agriculture although they have no significant influence on the per capita household operating income of farmers; agricultural cooperatives, who have no significant influence on the per capita household operating income of farmers, are negatively related to the per capita gross output value of agriculture; the number of both agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives have no significant impact on the performance of agricultural industrialization; the tightness of the trading behavior among agricultural business entities has a significant positive effect on the per capita household operating income of farmers, but the effect on the per capita gross output value of agriculture is not significant.
