Agricultural insurance is an important part of the social services system, which is a prerequisite to achieve agricultural modernization. In this paper, two factors were obtained by factor analysis: market risk awareness and natural risk awareness, which help explain agricultural risk.Next the impact of risk awareness on farmers' insured behavior and other hedging measures were studied, and then the effect of other risk aversion measures on agricultural insurance participation was explored through research methods of SUR. The results show that increased risk awareness will improve the probability of farmers' buying agricultural insurance and other hedging measures and that the diverse means of management can also influence farmers' insurance purchasing behavior through risk awareness. Finally, three suggestions were proposed: attention be paid to the coexistence of the natural risk and market risk awareness; the effectiveness of the allocation of agricultural insurance resources be ensured and emphasis be laid on the coordination of agricultural insurance and other hedging measures.
