Determination of the hydrogen diffusion coefficient in nanocrystalline and non-crystalline Mm(NiCoMnAl)_5 by cyclic voltammetry

Cyclic voltammetry was used to determine the hydrogen diffusion coefficient in the electrode with nanocrystalline and non-crystalline rare earth hydrogen storage alloy.The XRD,TEM and SAED were used to character for the structure of the hydrogen storage alloy.The results show that the nanocrystalline has high degree of crystallinity and small crystal particle size,a large number of grain boundary provide a good spread channel for hydrogen atoms,the ability of hydrogen diffusion is improved and the diffusion coefficient of the hydrogen electrode is increased.
