Optimized Air-Cooled Heat Pump Configuration Based on Building Dynamic Load

In order to obtain optimal configuration of air-cooled heat pumps in HVAC system,a computing energy consumption model of air-cooled heat pump is developed.Based on typical building dynamic load,multi-unit operation,as well as performance coefficient of air-cooled heat pump on variable condition,authors analyze air-cooled heat pumps' economical and technological performance.The results show that multiple air-cooled heat pump working on the heat load condition save energy more than the situation working on the cooled load condition,and compared to conventional air conditioning system configuration,3.5% reduction of annual electricity consumption can be achieved.
