The Reconsideration of Teacher's Right of Criticism

Teacher's right of criticism is a necessary right in educational activities. It should be the unity of vigor and temperature of criticism,the balance of authority and flexibility and the harmony of education and discipline. But the current implementation of teacher 's right of criticism has fallen into dilemma. The confusion of values in the period of social transition has impacted the foundation of the normal relation between teachers and students,and made teacher's legitimate right of criticism absent. The traditional thought of harmony has deconstructed the opposite side of the relation between teachers and students,and made teacher's right of criticism exist in name only. The extreme behavior of teachers and students has exaggerated the opposite side of the relation between teachers and students,and made teachers full of worries and self-perpetuating while they are implementing their right of criticism. The love of teachers is the basis to implement teacher's right of criticism and better the relation between teachers and students. What counts most is standardization and specification,and the best way to carry out the rules is the democratic way. Social support and organizational protection are guarantees to remove the care of teachers.
