Multi-agent based virtual project development

A practical implementation of the multi-agent based virtual project development is described from setting-up of ontology and description of task semantics to building-up of agent architecture and creation of agent intelligent model. A reactive agent structure with an intelligent belief model in the form of the Fuzzy ART networks is proposed and implemented in an agent framework. It provides agents with adaptability, competitiveness, self-organization and clustering capability. The results of cooperative development demonstrate the rationality of the proposed structure, and illustrate the self-organizing and adaptive properties of the ART networks.
