Application and comparison of calculation of two turbulence models on flow field of wind tunnel corner

To reduce pressure loss and improve aerodynamic performance for wind tunnel corner,the numerical simulation of its flow fields is carried out using Reynolds Stress Model(RSM) and k-ε turbulence model.The analysis and comparison on similarities and differences in corner pressure loss factor,loss factor due to wall friction and loss factor due to secondary flow between the two models shows:the corner pressure loss factors of both models are independent of Reynolds number;the corner pressure loss factors obtained by RSM model is closer to the experimental results;the loss factor due to wall friction obtained by RSM model is larger than the one of k-ε turbulence model under the same Reynolds numbers,but the change tendency of both models is same;the rule that loss factors due to secondary flow of both models vary with the change of Reynolds number is uniform,but the loss due to secondary flow obtained by k-ε turbulence model is larger than the one of RSM model under the same Reynolds numbers.
