Rotation simulation on SPA massage nozzle based on dynamic mesh

To overcome the high cost and long-term shortcomings in the design of SPA jet which depends on experience in the past,numerical modeling,simulation and calculation are performed on a SPA massage nozzle using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) technology to optimize the nozzle structure. The conservation equation of dynamic mesh is solved. FLUENT and the user-defined function UDF about nozzle rotation are used to perform 3D numerical analysis on the nozzle rotors. The mesh rotation for the rotors is implemented and the rotation speed is solved. The comparison of the experiments and the simulation shows that the method is appropriate.
