Numerical simulation software of flow field in multiphase fluid mixer

To simulate the final emulsion result of multiphase fluid in mixer,combined with FLUENT and ANSYS,a numerical simulation software of flow field is developed for multiphase fluid mixer by using VB which is taken as the foreground development program.The user interface is developed by VB,and the pre-processing model is implemented by invoking APDL of ANSYS in background,which is used to fulfill the modeling,meshing,component-building of mixer blade and cylinder.The log file of FLUENT is invoked to implement the flow field simulation and post-processing for the fluid,and the graphic and text are outputted and displayed on the user interface which is developed by VB.Compared with the MixSim developed by FLUENT Company,the software can simulate the phase distribution of the multiphase fluid after mixing,and is easy to implement the parameter optimization,especially the optimization of mixer blade rotation speed.
