ALOF:new 3D fatigue crack propagation analysis software

As to the status quo that the professional business software to analyze and evaluate the flawed engineering structures and equipment is needed urgently,the mature algorithm eXtended Finite Element Method(XFEM) and the self-developed Virtual Node Method(VNM) are integrated to develop a fatigue crack propagation software entitled ALOF(Analyses Laboratory of Fracture),which has the completely independent intellectual property rights of China.The solution process of ALOF is introduced for fracture problems and the features are detailed including the easy input of CAD and various kinds of cracking model,the automatic generation of 2D and 3D crack propagation analysis mesh with reasonable meshdensity,the abundant standard failure criteria,the hierarchical refined mesh around the cracking tip and the automatic cracking propagation computation and etc.Compared with the similar software,ALOF ismuch simpler and more precise,efficient and professional.Three practical engineering examples basedon ALOF indicate that it can evaluate the residual strength and fatigue life of any complex flawed engineering structures.
