Thermal control coating design and thermal deformation analysis on large truss deployment structure

To control the thermal deformation of large truss deployment structure when it is running in Low Earth Orbit(LEO),a finite element model is established for thermal analysis,and three candidate schemes of thermal control coating are proposed.According to the different schemes,the transient temperature fields are calculated for four running periods in LEO,and the thermal deformation is calculated on the basis of temperature field of the last period.The thermal deformations are compared,the thermal control coating scheme with minimum thermal deformation is selected and optimized to make the temperature differences of three main beams to be minimal,and the thermal deformation is effectively controlled for truss deployment structure.
