Optimization design on back tie rod pre-stress of miter gate of ship lock

To improve the torsion stiffness and decrease the torsion deformation for ship lock gate effectively,the back tie rod pre-stress of a large ship lock miter gate is optimized. The optimization design method of ship lock miter gate which is based on linear programming functions is introduced,and the stress and displacement of the back tie rod are calculated while the ship lock miter gate is subjected to self-weight and single load. Considering the effect of the torsion and dropping deformation of miter gate body,a pre-stress optimization design model which is based on improved linear programming is built.Several pre-stress optimization values are obtained,which can provide reference for site adjustment.
