Modal analysis of superconducting generator rotor

The modality of the inner rotor,the outer rotor and the whole rotor are analyzed for a superconducting generator by ANSYS. Considering the flexible supporting structure in the inner rotor,the constraint of the bearing of outer rotor is simplified as elastic constraint. Considering the effect of the elastic constraint stiffness,the first ten natural frequencies and the vibration shape figures of the inner rotor and the outer rotor are obtained. For the whole double-decks rotor structure,the vibration shapes of the inner rotor and the outer rotor in the structure are compared,and the natural vibration characteristics of the rotor are obtained.
