Application of Abaqus secondary development based on Python in simulation and analysis of deployable simple tape spring space structure

As to the repetitive work during the analysis of different types of tape spring structures,such as modeling,meshing,and so on,the secondary development is performed on pre-processing and postprocessing modules of Abaqus based on Python. Some specific windows and commands are added,and the special simulation module and post-processing program are designed for the analysis of deployable simple tape spring space structure. The model is directly generated by geometric and material parameters and a system is built to analyze the mechanical properties of deployable simple tape spring space structure during bending. The simple rapid modeling and automatic post-processing are offered for users by the system,which makes the mechanical property analysis of deployable simple tape spring space structure more effective.
