Research on Overall Framework of Executive Information System (EIS) for Enterprises

For offsetting the deficiencies of the existing EIS, A 6-tuples over all framework of EIS is built up in this paper. The model includes (1) informati on acquisition module which links MIS, Internet, and communication software to m ake EIS provide timely hard and soft information, (2) information base which sep arates hard and soft information and enhances the responding speed, (3) idea bas e which supply editing, storing, and retrieving function.
