Consensus of Second-order Multi-agent Systems with Sampled-data Control

This paper studies consensus of second-order multi-agent systems with sampled-data control under fixed topology and switching topology.For the fixed topology case,a necessary and sufficient condition is proposed for all the agents in a sampled-data setting to reach consensus.For the switching topology case,the authors provide a sufficient condition based on the sampling period and control parameters for multi-agent system if the union of digraphs has a directed spanning tree.Finally,numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of given results.
