Design of Ethernet Thermal Printer on Control Device

Embedded Control Device of Thermal printer based on Ethernet Network would be useful,as Thermal printer has certain advantages like smaller size,higher speed,lower noise,print more clearly etc.,accompanied by current trade that Ethernet technology based on TCP/IP protocol has been applied widely and frequently.The overall design plan of Ethernet Thermal Printer on Control Device has been introduced in paper,and hardware design and software design are in top priority.In terms of hardware design,during hardware system,with LM3S8962 as its design corn,certain circuits,such as the stepping motor driver circuit of printing head,the temperature detection and low paper detection circuit,keyboard and TFT and the Ethernet Interface etc.have been designed.Turing to the software design,host computer interface and Ethernet communication software have been designed as well as Control Devices embedded μ C/OS-II real-time operating system.Moreover the division of task,the print of task software,character and graph on application layer,drive of Ethernet and stepper motor,the temperature detection and protection have also been designed adding to the software design.
