Simulation and Optimization of DPF Leakage Fault with GT-Power

To study the leakage fault of diesel particulate filter( DPF),by paralleling diesel oxidation catalyst( DOC) with DPF and regulating their flow area ratio to reflect the different leakage degree,the paper firstly establishes a simulation model of DPF leakage fault with GT-Power software,and tests the main feature parameters of the model,such as exhaust back pressure and temperature. Then,it verifies and optimizes the simulation model with the result of exhaust resistance test,and proves the correctness of the optimized simulation model by engine bench test. The simulation result shows that establishing leakage fault model with GT-Power software to extract the main feature parameters of DPF leakage fault is accurate and reliable.
