On the Pluralistic Reciprocal Relation Created in Human Culture——Constructing Marxist Cultural Philosophy with Chinese Characteristics
WU Xuan;School of Humanities,Shanghai University of Finance and Economics;
China is expected to provide humankind with a cultural philosophy that is different from the theory of Western cultural conflict and the traditional Confucianism,so it is necessary to criticize the practice of suppressing creativity by traditional Chinese philosophy with Marxist methodology,to change the inequality between individuals and groups in Western philosophy,and to establish a pluralistic reciprocal relationship that emphasizes cultural individuality. Therefore,the mankind's integrality of China's contemporary Marxist cultural philosophy is no longer the cultural inequality constructed in any cultural centralism or the antithesis and singularity in cultural assimilation. On the contrary,it should be an ecological system that features pluralistic reciprocity and mutual respect and influence. It is no longer the individual with weaker creativity in China who"changes the methods yet maintains the philosophy",nor is the egoistic individual in the West who believes in the "supremacy of individualism". Instead,the new individual should respect all established cultural creations and can creatively transform them with reciprocity.
