Application of five-step narrative nursing intervention in smoking cessation nursing for patients after percutaneous coronary intervention

Objective:To observe the application effect of five-step narrative nursing intervention in smoking cessation nursing for patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.Methods:A total of 120 patients receiving PCI treatment were divided into control group and observation group.The patients in control group received the routine nursing care,the patients in observation group received the routine nursing care and five-step nursing narrative method.The related indexes were compared between both groups after the intervention.Results:The smoking good decision score and the nicotine dependence score were significantly lower in observation group than that in control group.The smoking harm decision score and smoking cessation success rate were significantly higher in observation group than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Five-step narrative nursing intervention can improve smoking cessation decision-making,reduce nicotine dependence and improve smoking cessation success rate.
