Study on Parametric 3D Modeling of Modified Helical Gear based on UG Secondary Development

The gear parametric modeling of the key issues is studied based on the generating method.With VC + +6.0programming tools,the 3dsoftware UG NX7.0secondary development,aparameterized module of gear is designed.The modified involute helical gear and all kinds of involute cylindrical gear precise 3Dmodeling are realized.With a hydraulic transmission with modified involute helical gear as an example,using this method can effectively improve the design efficiency,for modified helical gear CAM/CAE,a solid foundation is laid.
