Research on Multi-objective Reliability Optimal Design of Multistage Gear Transmission based on MATLAB

Mechanical reliability optimal design is a modern design technique,in which reliability of mechanical product is selected as objective function or constraint and optimization design method is used to obtain optimum design scheme.The reliability optimal design of three-stage helical cylindrical gear reducer is taken as example.The minimum volume,stable and reliable transmission are chosen as objective functions,the reliability of strength design is put into constraint.The mathematical model of multi-objective reliability optimal design is set up for the multi-gear transmission.The reliability optimal design is proceed with MATLAB optimization toolbox.
