Study on the Influence of the Cone Parameter of Synchronizer Ring on the Performance of Synchronizer

Aiming at that the cone parameters of synchronizer ring affecting the performance of synchronizer,the theory range of the conicity angle is derived based on the locking performance of synchronizer and the condition of avoiding auto-lock of the synchronizer ring.Simulating by ADAMS,the influence law of conicity angle and the friction coefficient of conical surface to the evaluation index such as time of synchronizer,second bump and slipping friction work is studied.The optimal range of conicity angle and dynamic friction coefficient of conical surface are achieved.
