Simulation Analysis of the Fatigue Life of Shearer Sprocket

The fatigue life of shearer sprocket is simulated by using FE-SAFE software based on shearer sprocket loading spectrum obtained from ADAMS software is combined with the results of sprocket bending stress achieved from ANSYS software.Particularly,the effect of surface roughness on fatigue life is analyzed,which provides theory basis for improving reasonably the surface quality of sprocket tooth,and then the fatigue life of sprocket is increased.
