Seeing the Breeding Progress from Mid-Early Maturing Group of Regional Test of Xinjiang Cotton Variety

Zhang Chaohui;Tarim River Seed Industry Ltd in Xinjiang;  
Based on the analysis of basic conditions,yield,quality of the mid- early maturing cotton in regiooal test of Xinjiang from 2004 to 2013. This paper concluded that: the experimental varieties in Xinjiang are mainly bred by the local breeding unit; the yield has greatly increased,the unginned cotton increased at the rate of 72 kg /hm2,ginned cotton at the rate of 36 kg /hm2,; the boll weight decreased while the lint increased,the length tended to reduce while the cotton fiber strength tended to raise,the mioronaire index had no obvious changes.
