Study of the Appropriate Dosage of Special Slow- Released Fertilizer for Cotton of Huanggang in Hubei Province

Lu Huaping;Dai baosheng;Li wei;Huanggang Academy of Agricultural Sciences/Cotton Experiment Station in Eastern Hubei Province,CARS.;  
The test was conducted on the effect of slow- released fertilizer in cotton. The results showed that slow- released fertilizer could delay aging,increasing boll weight and lint,extending the effective flowering and bolling stage,thus contributing to increase the total yield. The The suitable application amount of fertilizer in Huanggang was about1200 kg / hm2,the higher amount,the higher yield.
