Development of Upland Cotton Varieties of Short Fruiting Branch and Analysis of its Application in Hubei Province

Short fruiting branch cotton varieties have the characteristics of light-simple cultivation and harvested by machine,In recent years,more and more attention by breeders.By analyzing the present application situation of short fruiting branch cotton in our country,it discusses the classification and the development of short fruiting branch cotton breeding,pointing out the advantages of the short fruiting branch varieties of cotton,analyzing the short fruiting branch varieties of cotton in existing problems and suggestions on application of the Yangtze River Basin.
