A Study on the Stand Growth Model Based on Spatial Database

Taking the stand in forestry as the study object,secondary forest investigation data and relative graphics as the basic data,the stand growth model was selected,professional vector was manipulated by the application of ScanIn 5.1 of Titan 4.0 Chinese version.With the help of MapInfo professional 8.0,attribute and graphics database were constructed and linked via ID number.The spatial database for the forest management was formed by using VB programming to develop functions,trying to be more accurate,more realistic and more scientific for computer analysis and function forecast.The application of this thought to practical stand management may provide effective help for scientific forest management and planning.
