Optimization of Synthesis Conditions of Oleic Acid Imidazoline Corrosion Inhibitor

Oleic acid imidazoline was synthesized from oleic acid and diethylene triamine.The effects of reaction conditions such as ratio of raw materials,reaction temperature,reaction time and catalyst on corrosion inhibition performance of oleic acid imidazoline were examined.The optimal conditions were as follows:n (oleic acid):n(diethylenetriamine) 1:1.2,reaction temperature 180℃,reaction time 8 hours and the activated alumina as catalyst.The inhibition efficiency of oleic acid imidazoline was up to 89.3%.
