A Construction of Educational Equity Indicator System in China

ZHOU Jin-yan(Beijing Educational Scientific Research Institute,Beijing,China)  
In recent years,the problems of educational inequity in China have caused a lot of attention.It is urgent to construct an indicator system to evaluate Chinese educational equity which can offer much information for educational policies.This research attempt to construct an educational equity indicator system,using GINI index as the main measurement to evaluate educational equality.It includes compulsory educational equality index high educational equity index higher education equity index and educational achievement discrepancy index.
