Analysis for reinforced concrete structure with Solid65 element of ANSYS

In the FEA software of ANSYS,element Solid65 defined for concrete material are discussed in details and the methods for the connection between concrete and rebar are introduced in brief while the concrete is working together with rebar in this paper.The reinforced concrete simple-supportted beam using the Solid65 are taken as an example.The results show that the load vs displacement curve can commendably reflect the destructive mechanical characteristic of reinforced concrete beam.
