On engineering features of collapsible loess

According to the distribution regions,the horizontal and vertical distribution features of the collapsible loess of Shanxi Aluminum Plant,the paper illustrates the conditions for the self-weight collapsibility,features for the moment of the self-weight collapsible deformation after being soaked in water,as well as the scopes for the deformation,identifies the deformation features of the natural and compacted foundation under the measurement of additional collapsible volume,and concludes the measured self-weight collapsible volume is less than the one of the indoor test calculation,and the adopted correction factors in the new regulation is fundamentally consistent.
