Research on support technique for foundation pit excavation of neighboring existing railways

Combining with the foundation pit excavation project at some bearing platform along Nanjing-Shanghai High-speed Railway,the paper introduces the steel sheet pile support technique and its construction scheme,adopts the two-dimension finite element to simulate various construction conditions,analyzes the deformation for foundation pits and railway bed in respective construction conditions,and proves by the calculation results and site supervision data that the steel sheet pile plus support scheme can effectively control the deformation of the foundation pit,ensure the railway traffic safety,and provide some reference for similar projects.
