Analysis on stratum geological engineering quality of ancient Yangze river in Wuchang

In light of the geological engineering quality of special stratum of ancient Yangze river in Wuchang region,the paper studies the geological engineering quality from aspects of physical-mechanical features and penetration of ancient river stratum,and calculates the compression modulus and bearing capacity value of cohesive soil silt with two formulas,with a view to provide some guidance.
