A experimental study on shaking table of 800-tonnage friction pendulum isolation bearing

WU Hao-xu;Research Institute of Structural Engineering and Disaster Reduction,Tongji University;  
A new type of lager-tonnage friction pendulum isolation bearing applied on large-scale structures was tested on shaking table. By sliding friction bearing between slider and bearing surface,the new bearing achieving seismic energy consumption. The test results show that,energy consumption capacity is increasing with the earthquake intensity,the maximum seismic response reduction is reached 64. 21%. Meanwhile,the model frequency have no obvious changes,the bearing have good mechanical properties.
