The inner links between the earth pressure coefficient and the Mohr-Coulomb strength criterion

According to the stressed analysis of the earthwork behind the retaining walls,the paper deduces the calculation of the static soil pressure,explores the Rankine active soil pressure and passive soil pressure,and researches the internal relationship between the soil pressure coefficient and Mohr-Coulomb theory,so it is meaningful for the theoretic research and engineering calculation of the soil pressure.
