Effects of auxiliary piers on seismic performance of a long-span cable-stayed bridge with piers at different heights

A long-span cable-stayed bridge with piers at different heights is taken as the research object and effects of auxiliary piers on seismic performance of the structure are studied by control variables method. The results show that internal forces and displacements of key parts of the structure decrease by setting appropriate auxiliary piers.
